[strong]Purpose of the Core Classes[/strong][br] The purpose of the Core Classes at Lincoln Berean Church (LBC) is to ground God’s people in those fundamental portions of Scripture and theology that clearly outline who God is, his intention in creating humans, and to outline his ongoing salvific work on behalf of his creation through his Son, Jesus, and the empowering presence of his Holy Spirit.[br][br][strong]Purpose of the Class[/strong][br]We all know that we are supposed to grow in our faith, but for many of us understanding how the process of growth occurs is confusing. Join us for this one semester long course that will focus on the process of becoming more like Christ. The course is designed to help you understand how God intends to help you grow and how to cooperate with Him in that process. [br][br][em]Class is taught by Ryan Harmon.[/em][br][br][strong][em]• Each person planning to attend will need to register-cost is $5.00[br]• Each registrant will also need access to the required book "Revolution of Character" by Dallas Willard with Don Simpson (can be shared)-cost is $17[/em][/strong][br]
