You will have an opportunity to participate in a ballroom dance lesson with your spouse Friday evening. Saturday includes keynote speakers, Kyle and Carey Helmink, with a session on the below topic of communication and conflict resolution.
“Creating Your Marriage Story - All of us have a series of events that led us to choose to marry our marriage partner. Spend some time stepping back from the busyness of the daily grind and get away with your spouse to reflect on your past story, edit some current chapters, and maybe write some new chapters for the future by setting a new course with some communication and conflict resolution exercises. We will spend our time with fun activities, sharing some laughs, and refining our communication skills to have greater focus for our marriage relationship. We will do this by tapping into the richness of what God has revealed in his Word about communication and conflict resolution.”
Cost: $112/couple, which includes overnight stay for one night at the Graduate Hotel in Downtown Lincoln, a ballroom dance lesson, a session with Kyle and Carey Helmink, breakfast Saturday morning and lunch Saturday afternoon.
*Cost does not include dinner on Friday night. Couples can choose from the variety of dining options downtown for Friday night dinner.
